Area of a triangle problems

Area of a triangle problems

In this blog we are going to learn area of a triangle formula and how to solve area of triangle problems.

Formula to find area of a Triangle:

Area of right triangle (A) = 1/2b x h square units

b – Base

h – Height

Area of equilateral triangle (A) = a2 √3/4

a – side length

Below there is a solve area of a triangle Problem example-

The triangle angle has base 5 cm and height 13 cm. figure the area of right triangle

Solution:

Base=5cm; height=13

Solve for area:

Formula:

Area of triangle (A) = 1/2(b x h) square units

= 1/2(5 x 13)

= 65/2

Area of triangle (A) =32.5 cm

Next time we will solve more example on area of a triangle.
