The area of a Circle

The area of a circle:

In this blog we are going to learn about the area of a circle.

circle is a locus of every point which is equidistant from the centre or the central point.

The complete distance or length around a circle is called its circumference.

The distance across a circle passing through the centre is called the diameter which is denoted by a Greek letter pronounced pi.

The distance from the circumference of a circle to the centre or half the distance of diameter is called the radius and generally denoted by r

r= π /2.

Area of a circle is the total number of square units in the circle.

The formula for the Area of a Circle is given below: -

A=π.r2

Where,

A= Area of Circle,

π = 3.14(constant),

r= radius of the circle.

Or

A= π.d

Where,

A= Area of Circle,

π = 3.14(constant),

d =Diameter of the circle.

This is all about how to calculate circle area.next time we will learn more about this topic.
