Volume Formula

In this blog we are going to learn about volume formula.

Volume is the measure of how much space the object takes up or the capacity of the container.

We can calculate the volume of any hollow geometrical shapes with the help of several formulas. To know about valume formula see online math.

The volume of some of the geometrical shapes is given below: -

Volume formula of a cube = Cube =side x side x side

Volume formula of a Rectangular Prism = Rectangular Prism= side1 x side2 x side3

Volume formula of a Sphere = Sphere=4/3 x pi x radius

Volume formula of a Ellipsoid = Ellipsoid=4/3 x pi x radius1 x radius2 x radius3

Volume formula of a Cylinder = Cylinder=pi x radius x radius x height

Volume formula of a Cone = Cone=1/3 x pi x radius x radius x height

Volume formula of a Pyramid = Pyramid=1/3 x base area x height

Volume formula of a Torus = Torus=1/4 x pi x pi x (r1+r2) x (r1-r2) 2

To know more about more this kind of concept see 5th grade math help.It will be benifited for you.
